Red Ribbon Week
We had dress up days for Red Ribbon Week. Tuesday was "Country Day" and Wednesday was "Super Hero Day".
African Drums
Mrs. Taylor's 2nd grade music class brought their African drums to our class today to show us what they've been learning in music class. They played the drums for us and told us about a service project they are doing. They are asking us to bring in spare change that we can send to Africa to help feed children there. Change can be brought in on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Happy Halloween!
The kindergarten teachers dressed as characters from Toy Story. Mrs. Wyatt and Mrs. Morgan dressed as Slink the slinky dog!

K-9 Visit
During Red Ribbon Week, Officer Burton brought his police dog, Cain, to show Highland kindergartners and first graders how they work together. We learned how Cain can sniff out and find illegal drugs. We were so impressed by Cain's skills!

Jackson's Orchard Field Trip
Today went to Jackson's Orchard for a field trip. We took a hayride, picked pumpkins, had apple cider slushies, and watched a movie about how to make apple cider. Check out our pictures below.
