A representative from Mammoth Cave visited our class on September 22 to teach us about the basic needs of animals. We got to play a game outside that helped us remember animals' basic needs.
I am originally from southwestern Indiana where I graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught Kindergarten and first grade in Indiana before moving to Glasgow. My husband is a Glasgow native, hence my move to the great state of Kentucky. After moving to Kentucky, I taught Kindergarten in Warren County. This is my fourth year teaching Kindergarten at Highland.
My husband and I were married in June 2009. I am blessed with a 12 year old step-daughter and a 6 month old son. We have two dogs and two cats.
I am so excited to be working with your child this year. I look forward to watching them grow!
