On Wednesday, we read three Mo Willems' book from the pigeon series. We enjoyed Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late, and The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog. After reading these hilarious books, we learned how to draw the pigeon! Here we are working on our pigeon drawings.
After learning how to draw the pigeon, we wrote and illustrated our own pigeon stories. Some of our stories included Don't Let the Pigeon Ride the Lawn Mower, Don't Let the Pigeon Go to School, Don't Let the Pigeon Fly a Jet, Don't Let the Pigeon Ride the Elavator, and many more! I think we may have some future authors & illustrators in our class!
