Today, we learned about states of matter (solids and liquids, in particular). We read Dr. Seuss' Bartholomew and the Oobleck and then we made our very own Oobleck! When you touch it, it feels hard like a solid. But you can pour it like a liquid.
If you would like to make Oobleck at home, it is so easy!Just mix a couple boxes of cornstarch with water and green food dye. It will be very difficult to stir, but keep mixing it until it looks like a liquid but feels like a solid.
