The week of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, we learned all about Dr. King. We read several books about him as well as books about Ruby Bridges and Jackie Robinson. After learning about Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech, we wrote about our dreams in our journals. We then copied these dreams onto the big "DREAM" posters that the fifth grade classes made. The entire school participated in this project. We were glad to be a part of it. Our Kindergartners made me so proud with their dreams.
