We have been working hard on Rocket Math the last couple of weeks. Rocket Math is a set of timed, one-minute, addition "quizzes" that students take nearly every day. Students begin with "Quiz A" which include only 3 different addition problems. When a student passes a quiz, he or she moves on to the next set of addition problems, including all those that they have already learned, until they finally reach "Set Z". Each day, we practice our addition problems in a practice book with a partner or by ourselves with flash cards. Here are some of our students spread out throughout the class, working hard on learning their next set of addition problems.
