100th Day of School

Today was the 100th day of school here at Highland. We celebrated in style by dressing like we were 100 years old. We did tons of activities that revolve around the number 100. We used our imaginations to make pictures using the number 100. We made 100th day trail mix. Each student put ten groups of ten different snacks into a ziplock bag to make a total of 100 snacks. We wrote about what we would be like or do when we are 100 and made self-portraits of us at 100.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

After reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the students pretended to be one of the three bears and wrote a letter to Goldilocks asking her a question. Check out some student work below.
